The stretto canon was a staple of baroque music in the early 18th century. The familiar sound of a pipe organ has here been supplemented with modern synthesizers and digital beats.

The pipe organ is considered to have been invented in the 3rd century BCE in Alexandria, Ptolemaic Egypt, by Ctesibius - who is regarded by historians as the “father of pneumatics”.
